Dual Internal Fan Alternators
When replacing an alternator with an external fan, with one
that has an internal fan alternator, DO NOT take the external
fan from the original model and apply to the internal fan
alternator. This will result in pulley and belt misalignment.

No Pulley
Replacement alternator does not have a pulley.

28MT Starters with
Jump Start Protection
If the original starter has a Jump Start Protection
shield installed over the starter solenoid terminals, it
is recommended that the shield is transferred to the
replacement model. Or, purchase shield part # 10473386
from your genuine Delco Remy distributor or dealer.

Pad Mount and Engine
Mounting Brackets
Use the pre-existing engine mounting bracket holes to easily upgrade
from a competitive model. The same can be done when going from a
Delco Remy alternator with shorter pad mount style to the premium
brushless longer pad mount style.
