Jump Start Protection
If the original starter has a Jump Start Protection
shield installed over the starter solenoid terminals,
it is recommended that the shield is transferred to
the replacement model. Or, purchase shield part
number 10511411 from your genuine Delco Remy
distributor or dealer.

IMS Switch Position
The IMS switch on this replacement starter motor may need to be repositioned. To provide flexibility to our customers, this replacement Starter
Motor comes equipped with 6 sets of mounting holes that are designed to allow for maximum flexibility when positioning the IMS Switch.

Solenoid Position Slightly Different
The position of the solenoid on this replacement starter motor is different than the position of the solenoid on the OE Model. This replacement
starter motor comes equipped with a rotatable flange design and the solenoid will need to be repositioned (by removing the 6 bolts on the
front of the flange) and rotating the flange so that the solenoid is in the same position as the OE Model.

Has OCP
Replacement part number has OCP (over crank protection)

Starter Boot Clamp
The original starter has a boot clamp installed on the solenoid
for improved sealing determined necessary by the OEM. Please
consider the application and operating environment if the
replacement option does not provide this boot clamp sealing
feature.

The replacement starter DOES NOT have OCP (over crank protection) - the original starter model does have this feature.
