Protection shield installed over the starter
solenoid terminals, it is recommended that
the shield is transferred to the replacement
model. Or, purchase shield part number
10489059 from your genuine Delco Remy
distributor or dealer.

The replacement starter model solenoid switch position is slightly different (within 15 degrees) than the original model.
Need to confirm starter fit-up for proper installation.
