BRAKE DRUM OPTIONS

BRAKE DRUM TYPES

BRAKE DRUM CODES

The following codes indicate options that are available on our brake drums. The standard code on

our brake drums is “F”. When ordering, change the “F” code to any of the codes when the option

shown is required.

NOTE: Some brake drums are furnished “Balanced Only” as standard (“F” code is not available), in the case

of truck and some trailer brake drums. These brake drums are already coded “B” in the catalog. When

ordering, change the “B” code to any of these codes where balancing is included as a part of the option when

the option shown is required.

CODES:

B=Balanced

BW=Balanced+Wear Indicator

C=Special Drilling+Balanced

Special Drilling covers the drilling and tapping of holes for Anti-Skid, Speedometers,

Noise Dampeners etc. that are not drilled and tapped as standard.

D=Undersize+Balanced

F=Standard Finished

H=Special Hardness

J=Special Hardness+Balanced

U=Undersized

Z=Oversize+Balanced
